How to get to Brugge/Brujas/Bruges from the airport

  1. From Brussels Airport/Zaventem: the easiest is to take the train to Bruges. There are plenty of trains, some direct, some not. Traveling time is 49 minutes to 1h33, depending on which train you take. You can buy train tickets when you arrive to the train station. They should cost €20,8 for adults. Kids under 12 travel for free. If you are under 26, you can use a combination of Go Pass 1 + Diabolo surcharge. This should cost €11,2 in total. The train station is located under the airport.
  2. From Brussels South Airport/Charleroi: there are two options. Option 1. Take this bus, it will bring you straight to Bruges. Tickets are cheaper when you book them months on forehand. Minimum price one way is €5. The bus drops you off at the kiss and ride zone in front of the train station of Bruges. You can check the schedule on the website. The journey takes more or less 2h10, and buses depart every 1,5 to 2 hours.
    Option 2. Take the normal TEC bus from the airport to the train station of Charleroi city. Then take the train to Bruges. This whole trip will cost €21,6 for an adult and €12 if you are under 26 (ask for a Go Pass 1 + bus ticket). Kids under 12 will pay €6, as they travel for free on the train, but not the bus. The total journey will take more or less 2h40, with departures every 30 mins.
